Who You Calling Sugar?

sugar_0I was going to do an article on the other names of sugar. However, I found a good article that already covered most of the names that food companies use to “cover up” the word sugar. A woman by the name of Fit Sugar wrote this blog and I think it is of value for my clients to help them when reading food labels and ingredients. Check the original posting here. One small addition I want to add. Don’t be fooled if the words “organic” or “natural” are added to these sugar terms. It may be organic, but it is still sugar and excessive simple sugar intake compromises fat release. People’s attempt to lose fails due to this all the time! Keep yourself in check and eat carbohydrates that are more complex and in their natural states, which means not refined. Enjoy the article!
