Personal trainers are currently not covered by health insurance (There is a way to get a tax deduction though. Email me and I’ll tell you how.). Plus, you never know if you are getting a person who truly understands where ...

Kirstie Alley made an appearance on Oprah’s show and I couldn’t help but find out more about it. In fact Yahoo! had a front page story on her Oprah appearance and the new article in People magazine. If you didn’t get to watch or read the story, here are some links:

This is the New Year and many people have decided they are going to stop their inactive ways and begin exercising. You can tell by the packed gyms across the city. It seems everyone has the bug to shed those extra pounds and become more healthy.
It is a funny thing that in January, there is always a huge increase in sales for the fitness industry. However, in March, the gyms seem to be pretty emp...

Personal Trainer Who Once Weighed 300 Pounds Has Experience On His Side
The Commercial Appeal did a wonderful story on me yesterday. I really appreciate the angle they took. Memphis has been missing a personal trainer who truly understands the “other side of the fence.” So, feel free to read the article and if you dig it, leave a comment to let me know your thoughts. When I catch up with the ...

Best for Fitness?
I was recently taken aback by a client’s statement. While discussing the option of reopening a permanent location, she informed me that when people go into a fitness studio, they have a minimum expectation of exercise equipment. In the 1970s, N...
