Anna Langston, CFT
Health and fitness has been a concern for Anna Langston since an early age. She was often dissatisfied with her body image as a teenager. Athletics did not come naturally to her like many of her friends and other teenagers, and she often felt self-conscious about her abilities. Her mother was a constant encouragement reminding her that if you put your mind to something, you can accomplish it. This stuck with Anna throughout adolescence, and she developed a habit of working out a few days a week. This increased her self confidence, but her eating habits needed improvement.
The first years of college did not help Anna’s eating habits, and exercising was not as consistent. A new schedule, new friends, and being away from home often lead to eating unhealthy meals late at night. This lead to weight gain, and she became discouraged. The summer before her junior year of college, Anna worked as a camp counselor at a camp in Alabama. She decided things needed to change. She began running with another counselor before camp started in the morning. She was also eating four healthier meals a day on a more regular schedule. The summer was wonderful, and she returned to school in the fall weighing less than she did in high school! Changes can happen if you make them a priority!
Anna graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Psychology. After completing her undergraduate degree she moved to Memphis with her husband, Ethan. Exercise and nutrition continues to remain a focus in Anna’s life, and she has now turned it into a career. She is a NCSF certified fitness trainer. Currently, she began pursuing her Masters in Health Promotion at the University of Memphis. Today she has run four half marathons, two full marathons, and completed a triathlon.
Lanu Chu, MS Nutrition
Lana Chu is a Nutritionist with a Masters Degree from the University of Memphis. She has a broad range of experience in fitness and wellness, diabetes, and orthopedic research and nutritional counseling. She will be available to answer questions at select presentations and conduct grocery store tours.

Sandra Rogers
Sandra is an excellent success story who assists Memphis Adventure Boot Camp with more of the business end activities. She has an excellent attitude to help people and loves assisting people find the solution to their fitness, health, and weight loss goals.
Sandra found Dexter when he was featured in The Commercial Appeal. She decided she had to change her inactive lifestyle and dedicated to herself to make a change in her life. This decision to train with Dexter caused her to lose more than 30 pounds of fat so far and improve all of her health numbers.
